Students from Best Legacy College of Education (Belcoed) held an environmental sanitation drive today. The drive was organized by the school's environmental club and it was attended by students from all level.
The drive began at the school's campus and it extended to owode police station where students picked up trash, swept the streets, and cleaned the gutters and also planted trees and flowers along the road.
The environmental sanitation drive was a success, It helped to raise awareness of the importance of environmental sanitation among the students of Belcoed College and also helped to improve the cleanliness of the surrounding area.
"I'm glad that we were able to organize this environmental sanitation drive," said Mr. Damola the Dean Student Affairs. "It's important for our students to learn about the importance of keeping their environment clean. This drive will help them to become more responsible citizens."
